Old talk
[edit]The image I added was an unique for Wikipedia image of the lake. The image placed instead of my one is the same image as in Volkhov River article. I intended to fill Wikipedia with original free-licensed content and escape doubling (furthermore my image shows the lake and the current one shows the river). I don't insist on keeping my image, though. Ss r 00:30, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Finnish name
[edit]Please add name Ilmajärvi (Air Lake) into main text. Still in general use in Finland and Ilmenjärv in Estonia. The Russian name is derived from Ilmajärvi. From 1920´s map can be found a number of Estonian and Karelian villages nearby Ilmajärvi.
